5 Jun 2008 - Helping Kenyan School.

Thanks to the fantastic work of the Wraxall    School Ball Committee and wonderful support of the parents attending previous Summer balls, we donated £3,500 to ‘ Inspirations School ’ in Kenya . This money will fund the building of a new classroom at the school, and work has commenced this week. The money donated will make a huge difference to the school and allow them to take more pupils to receive an education. Mr Josephat the Head Teacher and Mr Bekker the Project Worker who have been sponsored in a schools exchange programme with a Bristol School , visited Wraxall last week. It was a great opportunity for our children to meet them and find out about Kenya .

Inspirations School ’ is the second school the charity Maji Safi Projects has built. The charity was founded by the Bristol couple Linda and Mike Greenland.

A big ‘Thank You’ to all who have helped make the ‘Wraxall School Classroom’ in Kenya possible.
