Summer Camp for Girls

The ultimate girly summer camp.

We have activities running such as cheerleading, dance, jewellery making, t-shirt decorating, fashion activities, pampering, outside games, a talent contest and more. The winners of each age group for the talent contest will even win a limo ride around the area. Age 7 - 12 for girls. The cost is £50, but there is discount for siblings.

It will be running on the 28th,29th and 30th July at The Downs School 9:30am - 3pm.

Children’s Summer Workshops

Come along with your friends throughout the Summer Holidays to learn how to make fabulous jewellery. You design the jewellery choosing beads in your favourite colours and shapes. A trained tutor will help you to complete your piece so it looks amazing. There are several workshops to choose from and you can progress through the different levels. All classes are open to any children ages 8-13.

Introductory Workshop. (2 hours) £12.00

Make jewellery for yourself, Mum or Grandma. Learn about the tools you need to get you started. Choose from a wide range of beads to create either a necklace or bracelet and a pair of earrings. When you have completed the workshop you will have the skills you need to do this for yourself at home.

Intermediate Workshop. (2 hours) £14.00

When you have the basic beading skills, you can progress to learning more complex beading using different stringing materials and finishing techniques. You will be able to take home jewellery you can be proud of. Then you can decide whether to keep it for yourself or give it as a special present.

Advanced Workshop. (2 hours) £15.00

Now that you have progressed this far – you can learn how to use wire to enhance the look and feel of your designs. Amaze your family and friends with your creativity. Make a magnificent necklace to match an outfit or as an impressive gift.

Dates start from 21^st July until end of August. Please ring for further details and to make your bookings. A maximum of 8 children per session, so book early to avoid disappointment. Price includes stringing materials, use of tools, finishings, beads and tutorial.
